Living Light is looking for a few good Kitchen Angels
for our 2013 Culinary Trainings
Would you enjoy participating in the Living Light kitchen with several of the world's top raw food chefs and instructors? Are you a humble, loving, good-natured individual, who appreciates the Zen of simple yet important kitchen tasks? Would you enjoy being part of a community of people who are passionate about raw culinary arts? Can you take a week, two, three, or up to six weeks to spend in pursuit of an opportunity that could change your life for the better?
If your answer to all these questions is YES - you are invited to apply. Kitchen Angels come to our school to "learn by doing," and may attend two demos or lectures each day, when available (some scheduled days do not include culinary demos). Kitchen Angels enjoy the same meals as our students do! They also receive the course recipes, and though they do not receive certification, they are able to learn a tremendous amount through observation and hands-on participation in the kitchen.
This position is for those who love to help "make it happen" in the kitchen. Angels must be willing to assist in the kitchen for an 8-hour shift and help with normal kitchen duties as assigned. No previous kitchen experience is required.
Kitchen Angels are responsible for their travel expenses and housing. In addition, there is a fee of $20.00 tuition per day for the program, which includes participation in available classes, and organic raw vegan cuisine. Like everything in life, the value of this opportunity is directly proportionate to a positive attitude.
